Updated September 27, 2026. Plain language, no legalese: what the game and the site do with your data.
MyRPGCompanion is a personal project by Breno Maini. Questions about privacy or requests about your data: [email protected]. We do not have a public phone number or address.
The game runs on your computer and works without internet. Your progress (level, items, achievements) stays only on your machine, in a local save file; none of it is sent to us.
Two screens in the game use the internet, and only when you use them: "Check for update" (asks GitHub what the latest version is, without sending any personal data) and "Support" (opens your browser to Mercado Pago, see below). On the Microsoft Store version, the supporter cosmetic purchase is handled by the Microsoft Store itself, under Microsoft's own privacy policy; we do not see or store anything about that purchase beyond knowing the cosmetic was unlocked.
When you create a Pix payment, the site sends the email you typed (and your CPF, only if Mercado Pago requires it) to Mercado Pago, which processes the payment. The site has no database: nothing is stored here, the supporter code is computed on the spot from Mercado Pago's own response.
After the payment is approved, we email the supporter code (via the Brevo service) to the address you gave, as a backup copy.
Your name (optional), email and message are sent by email (via Brevo) straight to our contact inbox. They are not stored in any database or anywhere else beyond that inbox.
Just two things, in your browser's localStorage: the language you chose and, if you started a Pix payment, its data (so the page can remember and keep showing the QR code if you refresh or come back). This stays only on your device; it never reaches us.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, cookie-free, which counts visits and site performance in aggregate. They do not identify you.
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any server, it keeps basic technical logs (IP address, time, what was accessed) to make the site work and for security (for example, limiting repeated attempts). We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
The game does not ask for any personal data to work and is not specifically directed at children.

If anything changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
